Hello to all!

Happy 44th Robin on July 13.

Happy 9th Anniversary Goldie on July 10.

Been busy.

Bob was home until Friday when he flew to Vegas. I wanted to go and I may still yet. Hope he gets to see Penn and Teller.

I have been working on getting thinner. Dieting and exercising sucks! One addition has been my white trash pool cabana. I have a big, tall plastic pool, with an awning and the kids and I have had some fun swimming around. To make it even more white trash, I have a blue tarp attached so people can't see me in my bathing suit.

I ended up working at school more than I intended. I went to my writing club and have a critique session on Tuesday. Had some minor surgery and am healing nicely. Except those blood sucking vampires are just leaving HUGE bruises on me. I can tell when they do it, that they are pushing too hard.

I got an iPod Shuffle for walking. My new favorite song: Kid Rock's All Summer Long and Bartender by Rehab. Also I just love Whip It!

Got our flights, hotel, and car for Bob and I to fly down to Atlanta to see Drew in August. It is a non-stop flight. It is really weird trying to get a non-stop flight. Bob had to fly to Ohio to get to Vegas. They wanted to send him to Atlanta. Four hour flights turn into all day. Recession!

Rachel is working away. Seems to be over her allergies. She has been getting out and socializing.

Drew has written a couple of times and called. He finished one phase of training and is working on the next. It involves explosives. He may call today. He would appreciate letters or cards.

Ryan and Mike and CT family and living with some people in their trailer park as they wait to move into a new apartment.

Veronica has been busy playing with friends, attending birthday parties, and riding her bike. Sometimes we ride together. Her big news is that she earned 2nd place at the local rodeo in Mutton Busting. In other words, she rode a sheep, and beat all of the girls and all of the boys except one. She got a medal, but no belt buckle. Of course, she doesn't own a belt.

Cash is just growing and continuing to be good natured. He is a little spoiled and wants to be picked up so he can see what you are doing. Oh well, I'll just pick him up.

Enough for today. Now I write...Got to have something for the critique.

Happy almost 4th of July!

Hope you are well and ready for some explosions.

Bob has been to Spain and returned yesterday. He didn't seem to enjoy Spain much. Partly, because they weren't really ready for him to do much.

Between the two of us we have been making some overtime and have been able to pay off some bills. Hurray!

I participate in a state program that gets teachers more money for extra work. It runs from May 1 to April 30 of next year and I have that time to do 120 hours of extra work. I worked so hard in May and the beginning of June outside of the regular school day that I already have 65 hours.

I have been taking it easy. Have done a little around the house and yard. My lawnmower boy frequently misses some spots and I have to do some clean up. Watched my babies a couple of times. Got Cash a library card. Been writing to Drew at Boot Camp. Recently I had some minor medical issues and my friend Robin and Rachel took care of me. Possibly overcompensated somewhat, but I do appreciate their help.

Rachel is busy working for Dan. She has been having lots of allergy problems. But she got a cute haircut and seems very happy with that!

Drew is still at Boot Camp. I got one letter and one information sheet written in his handwriting, so I think he is still alive. We are planning to go to visit him for family weekend and/or graduation. Both times fall when I am supposed to be attending inservice at school, but I am going anyway.

Mike called me about a week ago to visit. He said they were doing well.

Veronica has been having fun with her friends. She goes to work part of the time with Rachel. She and her friend Casey on a kick to save the world. They began by trimming leaves off my trees using safety scissors. She has been to her dad's a couple of times to swim.

Cash is a barrel of fun. Learning new things all of the time. I got him a whole bunch of books to read because I was tired of the duck book. Doesn't matter. Still get the duck book. He is quite the dancer. He also is going to be quite the ladies man. He has the cutest little evil grin you ever saw.

Cat and fish are fine. BUT I HATE SQUIRRELS! First they ate the bark off my trees and killed one of them. Now they are digging up my yard. Evil tree rats!

Short entry! Isn't great when you get the time to be boring!
